 about me

I am a contemporary artist and portraiture has always been my passion, although my recent experimentation and success in figure painting and drawing has lead me to consider both of these forms of art. This is what I hope to continue working on in the years to come!

In 2015 I became an RBA scholar when my work 'seated angel' was chosen by NADFAS as one of 35 out of a possible 348 originals created by student artists. This lead to the exhibition of 'seated angel' in the Lloyds Register Gallery London and the Mall Galleries London (right) in 2016. It sold within 5 minutes at the Lloyds Register gallery preview.

I owe my success to my incredible art teacher Mrs Sprey (left of 'seated angel'). She has been such an inspiration along with the work of other artists such as Andrew Salgado, Florian Nicolle, Guy Denning, Chuck Close and Alison Lambert.

All the works you see here are originals and are for sale. I hope to produce more works steadily over the next few years and I am very happy to accept commissions arranged by contact through this website, Eleanor Bell Art.
